Submissions Ghostwriting for Filmmakers and Production Companies

Submissions Ghostwriting for Filmmakers, Animators, and Production Companies

The story is in place. The idea makes sense in your head. Hell, it makes sense in the script. But now it’s the crunch–and you’re short on time, clarity, and distance.

That’s where we can help.

Our submissions ghostwriting and narrative support is designed specifically for small production companies, creative studios, and independent filmmakers and animators.

So if you need to seduce a grant panel, work through development snags, or hammer your story into a solid pitch–including pitch coaching–I can help you translate your creative instincts into those short, distilled documents that just have a way of opening doors.

What We Offer — Submissions Ghostwriting

Treatment & Synopsis Writing

We’re past the point of mood boards and world-building. Maybe the sequences have even been storyboarded. But now it’s time to explain this to someone who might actually fund it.

As an experienced writer/producer/filmmaking team, we can help shape your vision into a narrative treatment or synopsis – or even a full deck – that hits all the right beats: emotionally rich, structurally tight, and polished like a professional.

Deliverables:

  • 250-word synopsis and logline
  • 1-page synopsis with logline
  • 3–5 page treatment (short or feature) with logline
  • 10–15 page extended treatment for development packages

Pitch Decks & Lookbooks

Whether you’re aiming at a festival or a producer, people are looking for a story and a team that can execute.

The pitch deck and lookbook show that you can wrap up your idea and put a bow on it. In short, it’s an important signal that means you know how to execute.

We structure and ghostwriter pitch decks and lookbooks that match your unique visual touch and propose a clear creative direction.

Includes:

  • Vision statement / director’s note
  • Logline, synopsis, and tone briefing
  • Market positioning and comps
  • Story overview + key creative themes
  • Character bios or animation samples (where applicable)

Artist Statements & Personal Essays

This is all about being you – but the best version of yourself.

In short: we’re not into cut-and-past bios. It’s not whatever nonsense ChatGPT scraped about you (or hallucinated). This is about working closely to articulate your own voice, your viewpoint, and–most importantly–why your work matters.

In a way that feels clear, honest, and sticks in the reader’s mind.

People We Work With

Primarily, we focus on independent creatives and small production houses who have vision, but don’t have an in-house development team to do the packaging and submissions work.

That could be:

  • A filmmaker applying for a national grant
  • An animation studio seeking co-production partners
  • A festival candidate trying to sharpen your packaging materials
  • Any creative who knows how to create a brilliant thing, but who struggles to speak clearly about the thing

That’s where our submissions ghostwriting can help.

Why Work With Us

We are more than just randoms, or even fellow filmmakers. We become collaborators–who also happen to have extensive writing and consulting experience.

As a team, we have over 30 years’ combined experience in film. Our work has reached Top 1% (genre) on Coverfly and the top 1% in the Screencraft Film Fund competition.

Rowan’s  long experience in academic consulting has seen him work with clients to shape essays that have landed students at top schools from Harvard to Chicago to Oxbridge. He is a graduate of London Film School’s MA Screenwriting program and Cambridge University’s elite Writing for Performance prgram.

Hassan has worked with prominent clients like Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount, MJZ, Biscuit Filmworks, Focus Features, NBC and more in multiple capacities. He has directed over ten award winning narrative short films, as well as commercials, music videos, web series and documentary content. His feature film, This is Your Song, was released in 2024. We understand how to balance story, strategy, and voice.

With our broad experience, we are comfortable bridging the gap between your art and what others need to hear to support your art. The key goal: get your stuff read in rooms you’re not even in yet–but done in a way that feels like you wrote it, just cleaner and more persuasive.
